Easily my favorite U2 song of all time, amidst all their epic ballads, this is the one that gets me every time.

To me, U2 rapidly became the musical equivalent of the color beige or white bread: it's what's on when you don't want to upset anyone's tastes but it's pretty bland. That said, I've always sort of liked their version of "Gloria".
